Chase “Da Bank” Coleman announced via Twitter his intent to play for UCLA Football come the fall of 2025. The Bruins extended a scholarship offer just a week ago and he seemingly jumped at the opportunity to play football for DeShaun Foster.
The 6’2″ 160 lbs cornerback had received offers from Bethune-Cookman and North Texas.
He is the third commit to the 2025 class and the second defensive back to do so since Foster’s hiring in late February.

As a junior at Memorial High School, Coleman compiled 26 total tackles, two interceptions, four passes defended, and a blocked punt. He also competed in track and field as a long and triple jumper.
Gabe Brooks, a scout from 247 Sports writes the following about Coleman: “
“Taller, leaner, wiry-framed cover corner who’s shown capability to play on a perimeter island. Quicker-footed than your average long-framed cover man. Displays promising technical awareness and stays in phase to remain sticky downfield. Flashes some catch-point disruptiveness thanks to longer levers. Shows a willingness to get involved in the run game that should improve with added mass and strength. Projects as a quality FBS corner prospect who can fit multiple schemes. Could become a P4-caliber starter with developmental upside given frame specs.”
