Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Chase Brown won't see the field for at least a few weeks.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bengals placed Brown on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday afternoon, knocking him out for at least the next four weeks.

Brown, a rookie selected in the fifth round of the NFL Draft, suffered a hamstring injury during Thursday's practice leading up to Week 8. Brown did not practice Friday and was declared out Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Five games into his NFL career, Brown has touched the ball that exact number of times for the Bengals. He's behind both Joe Mixon and Trayveon Williams in the depth chart, and there hasn't been much of a rotation outside of Mixon and occasional touches for Williams. Comments made by offensive coordinator Brian Callahan indicated Brown was inline for a larger role in the back half of the season.

The Bengals have only placed one other player, rookie wide receiver Charlie Jones, on I.R. with the intent of activating him later in the season this year. Jones is eligible to come off the list starting next week, and the Bengals have plenty of chances remaining to bring back Brown after the four-week window expires.
