Georgia wide receiver Colbie Young wasn't the only newcomer who stood out on Saturday at G-Day.
Running back Trevor Etienne, a Florida transfer, also put on a show during the scrimmage.
Etienne was held to only four carries for 24 yards but also had an additional 33 yards in the air on three catches.

His dual efforts drew comparisons to former Bulldogs stars D'Andre Swift and James Cook from head coach Kirby Smart after the game.
“Explosive, quick in and out of the hole, he’s different than what we’ve had,” Smart said of Swift after the game. “I think the [D'Andre] Swift, [James] Cook analogies are good. He’s really taking a lot of personal pride in working on his [pass] protection. He’s learning the offense and he’s been a good SEC player for two years, not like he’s a freshman. He’s a really good player, really good kid. I’ve been proud of the way he’s handled everything.”
Etienne hasn't officially been named Georgia's starting running back for the 2024 season, but it's expected.
However, he is set to miss at least the first two games following his DUI arrest last month.
